    Description

    Here I have for sale a vintage Samsonite train cosmetic case.  By Shwayder Bros. Style #4612.
    It's in just about perfect condition compared to a lot of them I have seen.
    It is a medium brown finish.  The exterior is in very good condition.  No major gouges, rips, tears, stains.  It has the 4 little metal feet on the bottom in good condition.   The handle, corners, edges, are all fine.  There is a fine white line that runs along the top back edge of the lid.  Looks like it scraped against something in its travels and it left a white surface mark.  It's barely visible.  I've tried to show that in the photo.
    The vinyl inside is very clean, and there are no rips, tears, or stains in the lining.  The elastic pockets on the front and back are in good shape, and the elastic is still nice and tight and stretchy.  Not stretched out at all.
    The mirror is present, and is in clear very good condition.  The elastic strap that holds the mirror in place is a little bit loose on the upper left corner.  I've shown a photo of this close up.  It's really the only issue I have seen on this item.
    The locking clips work fine and still have good shiny finish on them.
    The plastic insert tray is present and in fine condition, no chips or stains.  No key.
    I collected these for a while, and this was one of the cleanest interiors I found.
    I am charging .00 on this listing for the shipping, because the last one of these I sold I had to ship all the way across the country from NJ and it cost me a fortune.  If the final purchaser of this item ends up being closer to NJ, and I can ship this for cheaper, I will refund you the difference in the postage I pay.  I will probably ship it FEDEX.
