Valve Index Left Knuckle Controller (QTY. 1) No Analog Capacitive Touch

These DO NOT have capacitive touch on the thumbstick, the ribbon cable was damaged and has been removed. It won’t register in game that you have your thumb resting on the analog stick when you touch it which just gives you a visual of the thumb closing and doesn’t effect gameplay but it still registers when you click or move it.

I purchased these in a bulk lot and replaced the faulty analog sticks that were drifting with new FJ06K-S sticks, they’re almost identical and function the same as the original except they’re not quite as stiff in my opinion. Although I fully charged and then tested each controller in the steam controller test and for around 20-30 minutes in game to ensure I didn’t encounter any problems, I’m selling these
AS IS
since I have no way of knowing the history or battery life left. They have normal wear/scuff marks and finger crud from use (see pictures). These
do not
come with usb charging cables or anything else besides the controller itself. You’re buying one random controller from the 6 pictured.
One of them has a lot of chipping on the coating around the grip and trigger (see pics), this will be the last one to ship.
The last picture is a microscope view of the part that goes bad compared to a good one for anyone interested. The picture of the thumb stick is to show that the
capacitive ribbon cable has been cut and removed
. Although the new analog sticks are of metal construction rather than plastic like the original, the part that goes bad is identical to the original so I don’t know the longevity of the new sticks. I’ve only put about 80 hours on my personal controller with the new stick.
