3D Printed Bottom Magnetic Gun Stock for Oculus Quest 2, No more Panic Reload!

Description

After playing with Onward with Quest 2, I started to search and print the perfect gun stock for the best gaming performance. Several were printed and tested, I decide to use the spare parts to build one myself.
The major issue of gun stock with magnets is, I found it is hard to locate the spots to attach the controllers back to the gun stock, aka, panic reload in the games. Practice will improve that but my muscle memory is bad and still happened from time to time. The other issue is, Quest lost the tracking when the sling went over the top of
controllers in the move with the magnets mounted on the top of the controllers.
At the end, some of designs add a lot of decoration to make them look nice. But these decoration actually won't be useful once you put on the VR headset and might cause scratches in game play. Therefore, I only put the MUST-HAVE parts on this gun stock.

at the bottom. Even your don't use them with the gun stock, they can be used for other pistol only games. They support right or left hand dominances.

. In order to allow the gun stock to stand on the group, basic rectangle shape was used on the parts. They might help to work as a sniper in the game and won't cause
scratches in the play.

are also provided. You
MUST
use
a sling (
a single point or two point sling) when you use the gun stock to prevent getting hurt from the drop of the gun stock. I prefer single point sling but two point sling works great too. NO SLING will be enclosed in this package.
The grips only work for the controllers of Quest 2. If you want to reduce the magnet power of the grips, you can take out a washer underneath the magnets. Overall, I found no more panic reload with this gun stock because you just lower your hands and the grips will touch the metal pipes!

The surface quality of these metal pipes are not very great and had some scratches or paint chips when I received them from Amazon.

are used in the print. That might leave the uneven surface or marks on the bottom/Edges of the prints and that is normal in the 3D printing.

Please don't put any
PLA
prints
inside the car under sunlight. They will deform when the temperature is higher than 120F degree.
